Children's Ministry Explained
Children are a vital part of the ministry here at NCBC and us such we have a multi-faceted approach to helping our children and their families enjoy church life here at NCBC on a Sunday. These include:
Children's Talks – are given each Sunday except once a month when Godly Play is in session. Children of all ages are invited to come to the front for the story/talk. At the conclusion of this time children are invited to collect an activity pack.
Activity Packs – are provided to give children some quiet activities to do. Activity packs are available each week should you need something to keep your child occupied.
Creche/Cry Room – Not all children are ready to sit through the whole church service, and for these littler ones we have specific child-friendly playroom located behind the hall (to the right of the church). There is an audio feed of the service so that parents do not miss out. The room is not supervised so a parent will need to stay. If your child is unsettled please feel free to make use of the crèche room (a door person will happily point you in the right direction should you need).
Godly Play - is our Christian education program for school age children. This is held once a month upstairs in the Upper Room. Children need to be attending school and able to come to the program by themselves with parents dropping them off at the door prior to 10am. All school aged children who are able to do this are welcome to join in. Dates for Godly Play are available if you are interested.
If you have any questions or suggestions we are always open to hear from the wider congregation.
