Frequently Asked Questions
I'm still not sure about this church thing. You think I should come?
Absolutely! We'd love to get to know you.
We’re a bunch of ordinary, imperfect people, from all kinds of backgrounds, who trust in an
extraordinary God full of love, mercy and forgiveness. We seek to welcome others the way God has so kindly welcomed us!
If you'd like to talk to someone before coming to a service, please reach our to us using our contact form.
What if I'm not a Christian?
Our church welcomes people from all faith backgrounds (or no faith) keen to explore the life of Jesus and the Bible.

What happens at church?
Each service runs for around 1.5 hours. During this time, we sing together, read the bible, hear a talk about part of the bible and pray. Before and after the service there's time to get to know each other and hang out!
What should I wear to church?
Members of our congregation wear anything from T-shirt and shorts to dress clothes. Wear whatever you're comfortable in!

Am I expected to give money?
Church is free to attend and you won't be asked to give. We ask our regulars to support the church financially if they are able.

What time should I arrive?
Our morning service starts at 10am and our evening service at 5pm. We suggest you arrive 5-10 minutes early, although you're welcome to arrive and leave at any time.

Can I bring my kids?
Yes! We welcome people of all ages at NCBC, including children. At our 10am service we run a creche (Acorns) for young children aged 0-6 and a kids program (Sprouts) for kids aged 6-12.
